EMTEQ offers a full array of products and services for air and ground vehicle retrofit and forward fit applications, including avionics certification and integration, and interior, cabin comfort and exterior lighting for the commercial, military, corporate, head-of-state / VIP and helicopter market. AVIONICS CERTIFICATION AND INTEGRATION / INSTALLATION KITS

EMTEQ's FAA certification portfolio includes over 100 STCs, many with international agency certifications valid in the European Union (EASA) and elsewhere for commercial air transport, regional and corporate aircraft OEM models. EMTEQ’s integration expertise includes custom or application-engineered avionics upgrades and modifications for navigation, communication, In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) and other systems.

Resale agreements with key equipment OEMs allow EMTEQ to provide turn-key installation kits, including Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) for systems such as TAWS / EGPWS, TCAS and others.

Comprehensive certification and engineering services include avionics, and mechanical and structural design, including interior layout (LOPA), consultation and installation and technical support.

AIRCRAFT INTERIOR LIGHTING

EMTEQ's LED lighting systems are aesthetically pleasing while being durable and easy to install and maintain. Current draw and heat emission is low. Many products are designed to easily control the LED color and luminosity. LED lights are lightweight and have an extremely low failure-rate. They can be customized for almost any application or location on an aircraft or vehicle.

Other aircraft lighting products include 100% LED wash, QUASAR™ mood lighting, reading, dome, flexible / semi-flexible lighting and accessories for power and lighting control.

FAA STC AC OUTLETS, SWITCH PANELS AND SEAT HEATING SYSTEMS

EMTEQ's line of Cabin Comfort products include AC outlets, switch panels and the revolutionary Elements™ seat heating system – the next level in passenger comfort. Each seating system can be individually controlled for temperature and warmth to the lumbar section only or lumbar and upper legs. Elements has built-in redundant safety features and will not alter the aesthetic or structural design of the seat. FAA STC and DO-160 approvals apply.

AC outlets and switch panels can be customized for plating and finish types, port configurations, passenger messaging and other features.

AIRCRAFT EXTERIOR LIGHTING

Flight Components, an EMTEQ company, designs and certifies exterior lights which meet RTCA / DO-160 and MIL-STD-810 standards and fulfill requirements for EASA ETSO / FAA TSO certification and OEM specifications. Systems include anti-collision, position, tail, wing-tip, NVG / NVIS friendly and combination LED lighting assemblies. State-of-the-art packaging allows for compact, utilitarian designs which can be readily customized.

ARINC 404 / 600 AIRCRAFT CABLES

EMTEQ's aircraft cable selection includes low-loss, lighter weight aircraft-grade 50Ω and 75Ω RF coaxial cables, and data bus, Ethernet and fiber-optic cables. Designs meet or exceed FAA and OEM requirements for flammability, smoke and toxic gas emissions.

We design, test and assemble ARINC 404 / 600 and military, non-standard configuration equipment mounting trays per RTCA-DO-160, military specification and OEM requirements. Options include various front hold downs, rear guide pins, shock-vibration isolators, cooling fans and more.

WIRE HARNESSING

EMTEQ's capabilities and expertise supports integrated or stand-alone wire harnessing per military and OEM specifications.

LED NIGHT VISION IMAGING SYSTEM

Our 28VDC LED Night Vision Imaging System (NVIS) draws 80% less current than incandescent lights with lower maintenance and increased reliability. MIL-L-85762, MIL-STD-3009 and DO-160 standards apply. The color availability includes NVIS green A and B, and NVIS red and white.

Our value-added services include comprehensive program management, design substantiation, qualification testing, reports and analysis. EMTEQ conducts business from an FAA PMA-approved facility which is also EN/JSIQ/AS9100:2004 approved.

As an FAA-approved repair station, EMTEQ can issue return-to-service tags and forms 8130-3 and 337 for ARINC 404 / 600 trays, coax cable assemblies and many of their interior lighting products. Approval for EMTEQ to issue EASA-equivalent tags and forms is anticipated.
