Bedek Aviation, an Israel firm, has completed the conversion of the prototype B767-300ER from passenger aircraft to a freighter configuration, the B767-300BDSF (Bedek special freighter).

The converted aircraft will be delivered to euroAtlantic airways, which intends to expand its operations into the freighter market with the acquisition of its first cargo aircraft.

Ground tests have been completed and flight testing is underway, with the first flight in October 2009.

The B767-300BDSF is due for delivery by end of 2009 after certification is completed.

Bedek supplies aviation maintenance, repair, overhaul and conversion services for a range of commercial and military aircraft, engines and components.
