A C-130J flight training device will be designed and developed for the Canadian Government’s C-130J aircrew training programme, under a new contract between Atlantis Systems International and CAE.

Under the contract, the companies will provide training systems and services for Canada’s tactical airlift, medium-to-heavy helicopter and other aircraft fleets.

Atlantis Systems chief executive officer Henrik Noesgaard said that this partnership builds on the momentum created earlier in the year with the announcements of additional new business in the first quarter of 2009.

This procurement by the Canadian Government is a part of the operational training system provider (OTSP) programme enabling the forces to be mission ready.

Atlantis Systems international, a subsidiary of Atlantis Systems provides simulation systems, while CAE offers simulation and modelling technologies and integrated training solutions.
