Aerocare specialises in providing a total engineering solution for aircraft cabin interior repair and maintenance, from Solidworks 3D CAD design to component manufacture and maintenance. Aerocare has a key focus on research and product development to meet airlines’ needs for cost savings and quality improvements. This research has led to the development of a unique, BS6920 WRc-NSF-approved potable water filtration system, utilising our 1-03 sanitation technology,.
Aerocare International is approved by the Civil Aviation Authority under EASA 145 and EASA 21G and can provide an EASA 21J design interface.

Potable water filtration for aircraft water tanks
Aerocare manufactures a potable water filter installed within the fill-line plumbing of the on-board potable water tank. The system is EASA certified and currently flying with our airline customers, demonstrating impressive in-service water quality results from uplifts on a global platform. Aerocare potable water filters provide protection against the following waterborne micro-organisms:
- Legionella contamination: micro-organisms responsible for Legionnaires disease
- Oocyst contamination: these cysts cause Cryptosporidia and Giardia infections, two very serious health problems
- Coliform contamination: micro-organisms responsible for a wide range of illness including food poisoning
Testing can be accomplished by airlines’ safety departments utilising ATP monitoring systems, with all equipment and training provided by Aerocare.
Aircraft cleaning and sanitation products
What Aerocare offers to the aviation industry is not only a set of products and sanitizers, but a complete and bespoke hygiene programme for each airline. The Aerocare product range offers a totally new approach to the cleaning and sanitation of aircraft cabin environments and the protection of passengers and crew. We have sought to develop products that, as well as being safe to handle, have a minimal environmental impact, without compromising efficiency.
Our 1-03 technology is unique compared with traditional cleaners and sanitizers in that it has a long-term residual effect, ensuring that the surface remains safe once it is sanitised. Airlines can implement full auditable control using our ATP test meter. Extensive testing has resulted in an impressive list of approvals including Boeing D6 and AMS 1452B.
The Aerocare product range features both surface cleaner / sanitizers and personal-use applications such as foaming hand wash and sanitizer for use in lavatories. A new range of on-board sales kits have been developed that are targeted at keeping passengers safe from the spread of bacteria and viruses such as swine flu.
