Integrated aircraft solutions provider Triumph Systems & Support has signed an exclusive agreement with VSE Aviation for the distribution of spare parts.

Under the agreement, VSE will supply more than 150 line-replaceable units and 1,600 landing gear accessories for various Boeing and Airbus commercial platforms.

The company will provide global support for customers from distribution centres in the Americas, Europe and Asia, thereby providing commercial airline operators with improved access to Triumph’s hydraulic landing gear components.

Triumph Systems & Support executive vice-president William Kircher said: “Our partnership with VSE will enable Triumph to get our spares in the hands of customers, when and where they need it.

“Our customers value the quality, reliability and pedigree of Triumph designed, built, and tested parts. The VSE distribution agreement will allow us to better serve the aftermarket needs and requirements of airline customers and aircraft repair centres.”

A business unit of Triumph Group, Triumph Systems & Support is expanding its reach into the hydraulic landing gear components spares market and will benefit from VSE’s client portfolio and global locations.

VSE CEO John Cuomo said: “This agreement expands VSE’s offerings to commercial airlines and MROs, and we look forward to representing Triumph’s brand with our industry-leading customer service and support.”

Since 2013, the companies have partnered for the distribution of flight critical parts and components, including air drive units, rotorcraft engine accessories, and fuel control support.

Headquartered in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, Triumph Group specialises in designing, manufacturing, repairing a broad portfolio of aerospace and defence systems, components and structures.

Earlier this month, Triumph Group entered a definitive agreement with Arlington Capital Partners to divest its Red Oak, Texas operations to Arlington Capital Partners.

The divestment includes the Red Oak facility, along with its thermoplastic engineering capabilities.
