Deals this week: Honeywell, Strat Aero, CFM International


Turkish fleet management services provider MNG Jet Aerospace has placed an order with Honeywell International for providing mechanical protection plan (MPP) and avionics protection plan (HAPP) services.

The protection plans to be supplied under the deal will be installed on MNG Jet's Bombardier Global 5000 and Challenger 605 aircraft fleet to provide operators with predictable maintenance and repair costs.

Strat Aero has been selected to provide aviation consulting services to Cyprus' Department of Civil Aviation (DCA).

The company will support DCA in the issuance of air operating certificates to helicopter operators providing services to offshore destinations from the country.

CFM International has been selected to supply its LEAP-1A engine for installation onto Acropolis Aviation’s new Airbus ACJ320neo aircraft.

"The new aircraft will allow Air Hamburg to provide its customers with superior in-flight experience."

The LEAP-1A engine is expected to provide increased fuel efficiency for new ACJ320neo aircraft, which is scheduled to be received by Acropolis next year.

Chinese carrier Hainan Airlines has selected Honeywell International to provide maintenance services for its Airbus A330 aircraft fleet.

The contractor will equip the carrier’s current fleet of 50 A330 aircraft with a connected auxiliary power unit (APU) predictive maintenance service, under the GoDirect Maintenance Service programme.

German charter operator Air Hamburg has placed a $77.7m order with Brazilian aerospace firm Embraer for three new Legacy 650E aircraft, becoming the launch customer for the aircraft.

Scheduled to be delivered in the third quarter of this year, the new aircraft will allow Air Hamburg to provide its customers with superior in-flight experience.
