Embraer has signed a new contract worth $172m with TRIP Linhas Aéreas for the sale of four Embraer 190 jets.

The Embraer 190 jets will be configured in a single 110-seat class as per TRIP’s requirements to support the airline’s continuous and sustainable growth between regional hubs.

TRIP has plans to expand the number of destinations in the Brazilian market, which is expected to double in size over the next five years.

The airline currently operates nine Embraer 175 jets, configured in a single 86-seat class and the new deal brings the total E-jets order to 24.
