Singapore Airlines (SIA) has entered a multi-year agreement with Parker Aerospace to provide comprehensive support for its fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft.

Under the ten-year deal, Parker Aerospace’s customer support operations will provide maintenance, inventory pooling and leasing, reliability sustainment, and management services.

The deal includes an option for five years and will cover Parker products, including flight controls, fuel, hydraulic, and landing gear.

SIA operates more than 50 Boeing 777 airliners across the world, and a modern fleet of 105 aircraft.

"This agreement provides cost predictability to our customer, while offering enhanced services and product performance for their fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft."

Average age of the airline’s fleet stands at seven years, making it one among the youngest and fuel efficient fleets.

Parker Aerospace customer support operations Asia Pacific director Fergus Lopez said: "This agreement provides cost predictability to our customer, while offering enhanced services and product performance for their fleet of Boeing 777 aircraft."

Parker Aerospace customer support operations vice-president Bonnie Peat said: "This long-term partnership with SIA illustrates Parker’s commitment to providing global reach, local focus to customers located around the world while elevating their experiences in working with us to meet the needs of their aircraft fleets."

ACE Services, the joint venture between SIA Engineering and Parker Aerospace, will oversee various products locally.
