Pacific Life commercial aircraft leasing subsidiary Aviation Capital Group (ACG) has placed follow-on orders for 35 new Airbus A320 family aircraft.

The orders include 30 A320neo family aircraft, two A320ceo aircraft and three A321ceo aircraft.

Including an option to buy ten more A320neo aircraft, ACG and its subsidiaries’ orders have ordered a total of 158 A320 aircraft.

“The A320 family is one of the prime building blocks of our portfolio growth strategy."

Airbus has already delivered 66 aircraft of the total order.

ACG CEO Khanh Tran said: “The A320 family is one of the prime building blocks of our portfolio growth strategy.

“We look forward to placing these highly fuel-efficient aircraft with our airline customers around the world.”

The A320 family aircraft has so far won more than 12,800 orders, which includes 4,800 A320neo family aircraft from 89 customers worldwide.

ACG currently has a fleet of approximately 415 owned, managed and committed aircraft, which are leased to nearly 90 airlines.

In addition, ACG has announced its plan to sell a mid-life aircraft portfolio to an undisclosed financial investor.

The mid-life portfolio features in-production A320 jets from Airbus and B737 family aircraft from Boeing, which are currently on lease to various airlines.
