EASA-approved flight line digital static test sets
The Univ-20-40 Universal Vacuum Tester is a precision, manually controlled, portable, flight line digital static test set, which has been engineered using direct customer feedback.
The single-channel set delivers controlled total static pressure outputs to simulate inHg, mbar, psia, mmHg, and PSI / min parameters. The product is compact, lightweight, and can fit in the overhead bins on most commercial aircraft.
The Univ 20-40 test set is highlighted in the recent EASA Airworthiness Directive (EASA AD) No: 2017-0223, dated 10 November 2017, which covers the ATR 42 (400 / 500 series), and the ATR 72 (100 / 200 series) aircraft.
Single-channel test sets for all aircraft applications
The Univ 20-40 is used by airlines, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), as well as corporate operators. It is also deployed by flight departments and general aviation owners around the world.
The approved testing kit is used by Bombardier (C300 / 350, Global 5000, 6000, 7000 & C-Series), Gulfstream G100-G650, and the ATR 42 / 72 series.
The Univ 20-40 is being tested by Dassault Falcon and is going through the approval process with several other OEMs.
When the Airworthiness Directive was released, the Univ 20-40 was modified to handle European input power requirements from 110V / 240V AC input power, without any external power adapters required.
Automated testing kits with complete units of measurements
Each test set is shipped with a 15ft hose and 6ft power cord. Adjustments can be made via special order if necessary, and the test set comes with a two-year parts and labor warranty.
The test set has a 4 inch micro-graphic touch panel, providing complete units of measurement such as inHg, mbar, psia, mmHg, and vertical speed PSI/min.
The set automatically calculates the difference between the ambient pressures upon start-up, and static leak rate modes generate calculations for user convenience.
The Univ 20-40’s sensors also provide temperature compensation functions for extreme flight conditions.
Rugged test sets for airline safety / pressure relief valve and cabin oxygen masks
Made in the US, the test set has a rugged construction, which is ideal for commercial, government, or military (special mission) use. Its Ruggedized Case is constructed to meet MIL-STD-810F and FED-STD-101C standards.
The on-board state-of-the-art digital sensor technology is calibrated and meets the National Institute Standards and Technology (NIST) specifications.
Its case is watertight and pad-lockable to provide security, as well as loss prevention.
The Univ 20-40 has multiple applications and is particularly suitable for safety / pressure valves.
