The first US Customs & Border Protection (CBP) Agency UH-60 A-A to L recapitalisation aircraft has been rolled out from Sikorsky Aerospace Maintenance’s Chase Field Operations Center in Texas.

The UH-60L Black Hawk helicopter adds improved power, durability and reliability to the US CBP fleet.

Equipped with features that enhance mission capability and readiness, the Black Hawk helps in improving the performance of all US Department of Defense service aircraft.

The UH-60L Black Hawk, with a machined cabin structure, two T700-GE701D engines and a cockpit equipped with a four-axis fully coupled flight director, is capable of operating in the most extreme conditions.

The UH-60L provides superior vertical lift due to the integration of the US Army’s Future Combat Systems and automated aircraft health monitoring.
