Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) has expanded its code-share agreement with German airline company Deutsche Lufthansa, to offer customers more benefits through new code share destinations and increased connections.

SIA customers can benefit from 20 new code share routes on flights operated by Lufthansa and Swiss to and from locations in Belgium, Switzerland, Austria and Germany via Munich and Zurich transfer hubs.

Customers of Lufthansa and Swiss can access code-share travel on flights operated by SIA on routes in South East Asia and the South West Pacific.

Malaysia Airlines Berhad has entered a code-share partnership with Emirates Airline to provide new routes and frequent flyer benefits for their customers.

Malaysia Airline’s Enrich members, Emirates Skywards members and members of frequent flyer programmes of both the airlines will be able to earn bonus and redeem miles on all domestic and international flights operated by the two airlines.

The new flight routes include 15 Malaysian cities.

AirAsia Berhad, n Malaysia, has agreed to raise $255.43m through the sale of 559 million new shares to Tune Live Sdn Bhd, at a value of $0.47 per share.

Upon completion, the stake of Tune Live’s owners Tan Sri Anthony Fernandes and Datuk Kamarudin Meranun will increase from 18.9% to 32.4%. CIMB Investment Bank and Rhb Investment Bank are the financial advisors for the transaction.
