Hydraulics overhaul and repair
Aerotek has overhaul and repair capabilities on a variety of retraction actuators, accumulators, reservoirs, pressure relief and steering control valves for various commuter regional aircraft.

Landing gear overhaul
Aerotek can overhaul a variety of aircraft landing gear types, such as Fokker 27, Fokker 28, Fokker 50, and the Bombardier DCH-8 100, 200 and 300 series. We can also work on the Falcon 20, and the BAe 146 range of aircraft.
Our turn-around times are kept to a minimum, thereby reducing the customer’s aircraft down time, with resulting financial benefits.
Repair, testing and re-protection services for aircraft wheels
Machining repairs, shot peening, non-destructive testing and surface re-protection are all carried out in house with over 95% of wheels turned around inside seven days. This turn-around dramatically reduces costs and the need to stock large quantities of replacement wheel hubs, as units are back to the customer and in final assembly within the operator’s strict schedule.
Goodrich, Honeywell, Dunlop, and Tucano wheels can all be repaired, reclaimed, and released to EASA/FAA requirements at our facility.
Non-destructive testing of aviation metals
Aerotek is a D1 test house for ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Our capabilities include magnetic particle inspection, and dye penetrant inspection, tested to the customer’s specification and requirements. Our test house status enables us to advise on testing techniques for complicated component parts if customers require.
Shot peening for aircraft and commercial applications
Aerotek offers shot peening to customers’ specifications and requirements in the aircraft and commercial sectors.
Cadmium repairs and painting
We can perform cadmium plate repair operations and also offer our own painting service for one-off units or for complete landing gear. We also cater for small/medium batch work for aircraft and non-aircraft parts.
