Parker Hannifin’s business unit, Parker Aerospace, has secured a contract with Tianjin Airlines to provide a comprehensive maintenance package for its Embraer 190 E-Jet aircraft.

Under the contract, Parker Aerospace will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the carrier’s E-Jet aircraft.

The company will also provide inventory management, and a quick turnaround replenishment service.

"The material support level will improve with the advance ship service and material cost will be fixed by the CPH."

Parker Aerospace customer support operations Asia Pacific director Fergus Lopez said: "Parker is proud to form this partnership with Tianjin Airlines.

"We look forward to providing enhanced support and cost predictability to our new customer."

With this contract, the company will be able to provide global reach, local focus to customers in China.

Tianjin Airlines vice-president Jeff Hu said: "We are glad to reach a cost-per-hour agreement with Parker on the EMB 190.

"The material support level will improve with the advance ship service and material cost will be fixed by the CPH."

Parker Aerospace designs, manufactures, and services flight control, hydraulic, fuel and inerting, fluid conveyance, thermal management, and engine systems and components.
