Private equity firm Liberty Hall Capital Partners has acquired UK-based performance critical component provider Bromford Industries.

Following the acquisition, Bromford will help Liberty Hall create an extensive engine component supplier to the aerospace and power generation industries through organic investments and strategic acquisitions.

Both firms have yet to disclose the terms of the transaction.

Liberty Hall Capital Partners founding partner Rowan Taylor said: "As the commercial aerospace industry continues to enjoy long-term secular growth, one of the highest growing segments of the industry is demand for next-generation fuel-efficient engines.

"Bromford represents an ideal platform from which to build a fully integrated, diversified engine component supplier."

"Bromford is a leading supplier to this segment with an impressive roster of customers, differentiated capabilities and a proven history of customer service.

Prior to the latest acquisition, Liberty Hall bought AIM Aerospace last month.

Since its creation, Accurus completed three strategic acquisitions, including Precise Machining & Manufacturing in 2013, McCann Aerospace Machining in 2014 and LaCroix Industries last year.

Liberty Hall stated that since 2000, many of its principals have invested $2.2bn in equity capital in eleven platform and eight add-on acquisitions, which serve the aerospace and defense industry as well as corresponding industrial end markets.
