GE Aviation has concluded the acquisition of BMB Fuel, which provides fuel consulting services to identify and track operational improvements for airlines that reduce fuel consumption.

BMB Fuel’s aviation fuel decision SupportSM software will enable GE to address fuel conservation, on-time performance, and carbon compliance reporting and monitoring by integrating aircraft data, flight operations and flight planning information and other key operational elements.

This solution will help identify and prioritise strategic opportunities, monitor progress and track results.

GE Aviation Services CEO and president Tom Gentile said that integrating this team with GE Aviation’s flight operations, systems and engineering teams will enable them to identify fuel savings on a single, integrated platform and work together with airlines to develop innovative solutions.

BMB Fuel’s capabilities will be integrated into GE’s fuel services programme and will focus on helping customers reduce their cost of ownership, fuel consumption and emissions.
