Qatar Airways is losing patience with Boeing over delays to the airline’s order of 60 787s according to reports from the Paris Air Show.

Flightglobal.com reports that Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker has complained that the aircraft manufacturer has taken too long to resolve unspecified issues and that the company may loose the airline contract if the issues are not resolved soon.

According to Al Baker, Boeing has not dealt with the company in a professional manner.

“Qatar Airways is very impatient with them. The airline has the right to walk away from the deal if the delay is unreasonable,” Al Baker said.

The airline’s firm order for 30 Boeing 787 originally stipulated that the aircraft would be ready in mid 2010 but issues in production have pushed the delivery deadlines back by around two years.
