Boeing has delivered its first 777 freighter to Deucalion Capital for AeroLogic.

The world’s longest-range twin-engine freighter can fly 4,885nm with a full payload of 226,800lb.

The delivery also includes two Boeing E-enabled tools — maintenance performance toolbox and airplane health management.

With a high cargo capacity for its size, it also offers high cost efficiency on single trip.

The e-tools offered along with the 777 freighter will help the operator in identifying and effectively managing maintenance needs and technical training.

This sale is the first in a series of eight freighters to be delivered to Aerologic. A further 11 customers have ordered a total of 72 of these freighters.

Aerologic is a start-up cargo operator, formed as a joint venture between Lufthansa Cargo and DHL Express.
