Qatar Airways has ordered two Boeing 777 Freighters worth $560m, which will increase the airline’s 777 Freighter fleet to eight.

The 777 Freighter offers a range up to 4,900nm (9,070km) with a full payload of 225,200lb (102t).

The twin-engine jet is powered by General Electric’s GE90-110B1L engine and meets QC2 noise standards.

Currently, Qatar Airways operates 28 Boeing 777s of various types, including 16 777-300ERs (extended range), three 777 Freighters and nine 777-200LRs.
