Honeywell Aerospace and GDC Technics have partnered to offer Honeywell JetWave satellite communications system for Boeing and Airbus business and commercial aircraft.

Honeywell’s JetWave satellite connectivity hardware is said to support Inmarsat’s Jet ConneX Wi-Fi service, which is scheduled for launch in the second half of 2015.

The service will provide aircraft with high speed in-flight Wi-Fi worldwide, over land and sea.
