Legacy 650

Rolls-Royce has appointed Embraer as an authorised maintenance provider for the AE3007 engines in Brazil.

The agreement will allow Embraer Executive Jets Service Center in São José dos Campos to carry out Rolls-Royce’s warranty or CorporateCare programme services.

The programme covers the cost of replacement parts, labour, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

AE3007 engines are equipped on Embraer’s ERJ 145 family and the Legacy 600/650 jetliners.

"The programme covers the cost of replacement parts, labour, and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance."

Embraer Executive Jets’ service portfolio comprises maintenance tracking tools, performance and flight operations software, and special maintenance programmes such as the Embraer Executive Care and the Aircraft Health Analysis and Diagnosis system.

Embraer Executive Jets Customer Support and Service director Edson Carlos Mallaco said: "The new partnership between Embraer and Rolls-Royce seeks to assure efficient operations and convenience for our customers."

Rolls-Royce civil small and medium engines services and customer support senior vice-president Andrew Robinson said: "We believe this has established the groundwork for all Embraer-owned service centres worldwide to follow suit; this complements our global strategy and further strengthens our relationship with our valued partner Embraer."

More than 160 Phenom and Legacy business aircraft are currently operating in the country.
