Bangladeshi airline United Airways has announced the private placement of 400 million shares at an issue price of $0.12.

The shares will be issued to Phoenix Aircraft Leasing, TAC Aviation and SWIFT Aircargo.

The proceeds generated from the offering will enable United Airways to restart its operations.

Lockheed Martin Commercial Engine Solutions (LMCES) has secured a contract from Air Wisconsin Airlines Corporation to provide repair services for CF34-3 engines of CRJ200 fleet.

Blue Origin, a US aerospace company, has been selected by Nasa to provide suborbital flight and integration services.

Under the $45m contract award, which is executed under the Nasa’s flight opportunities programme, Blue Origin will integrate and fly technology payloads on New Shepard suborbital space vehicle to the edge of the space.

Air Lease Corporation (ALC) has signed a pact for the sale of 25 of its Embraer E190 and E175 aircraft to Nordic Aviation Capital (NAC).

The aircraft deliveries are expected to be completed by next March.

A part of the capital generated from the sale will allow Air Lease to acquire aircraft on incremental approach.
