IAE International Aero Engines AG will provide five V2500 turbofan engines that will power Airbus A320ceo family aircraft operated by BOC Aviation, a Singapore-based aircraft operating leasing firm.

The V2500 engine was installed on more than 170 BOC Aviation aircraft.

Designed and manufactured by International Aero Engines, the V2500 engine has a thrust range between 22,000lb and 33,000lb.

Japan Airlines and Boeing have extended their spare parts partnership for a period of ten years.

Under the deal, Boeing will provide GoldCare expendable services, which will enable the airline to increase aircraft availability and reduce operating costs.

Russian aviation firm S7 Group has signed an agreement to purchase Sea Launch SA’s assets in Long Beach, California, US.

The transaction includes Odyssey launch platform, Sea Launch commander vessel and ground support equipment.

Subject to necessary regulatory approvals, the deal is scheduled to be completed in the first quarter of next year.
