TAP Portugal has signed agreements to acquire four new Airbus A330-900neo and one new A320-200neo aircraft from US-based Air Lease Corporation.

Scheduled to be delivered by 2019, the new aircraft will strengthen the carrier’s services in Europe, Africa and across the North and South Atlantic.

Singapore-based aircraft leasing company BOC Aviation has finalised a $1.25bn order with The Boeing Company for the purchase of ten 737 MAX 10 single-aisle aircraft.

"When finalised, the deal will require Spirit AeroSystems to supply high-quality components for five Boeing commercial aircraft programmes."

Equipped with CFM International LEAP-1B engines, the new aircraft will allow the BOC Aviation to continue to provide its airline customers with superior solutions.

Meggitt has secured an order to supply NuCarb carbon brakes and a new wheel to be installed on Airbus’ A321neos aircraft.

The components to be supplied under the deal aim to enhance performance characteristics of the A321neo aircraft.

US airline Silver Airways has awarded a four-year parts exchange program (PEP) agreement to Swedish aerospace and defence firm Saab AB.

Saab will perform component repairs and exchanges for Silver's Saab 340 fleet, as part of the agreement.
