B/E Aerospace has announced the extension and expansion of its agreement with United Technologies Corporation (UTC), to provide aerospace fasteners, hardware, consumables, and logistical services to UTC’s aerospace business segments for global operations.

The deal with UTC will last until 31 December 2022, and is initially valued at around $950m.

Under the agreement, B/E Aerospace will supply UTC’s aerospace business units, including Goodrich, Hamilton Sundstrand, Pratt & Whitney and Sikorsky Aircraft, with aerospace fasteners and hardware, along with other consumables.

The contract will also see B/E providing logistical services such as just-in-time delivery, bin management services, integrated supply chain logistics, and 24/7 airplane-on-the-ground (AOG) support.

B/E Aerospace chairman and chief executive officer Amin Khoury said: "Today’s announcement highlights our continued focus on having the best and broadest portfolio of aerospace consumables and logistical services and further solidifies our position as the market leader."

B/E Aerospace is a manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and a distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables.

The company designs, develops and manufactures a variety of products for both commercial aircraft and business jets, including aircraft cabin seating, lighting systems, oxygen systems, food and beverage preparation and storage equipment, galley systems, and modular lavatory systems.
