London Executive Aviation (LEA) has added an Embraer Legacy 600 and a Cessna Citation XLS to its operational fleet.

The Legacy 600 will be based at Farnborough Airport, one of the seven LEA facilities around London.

LEA managing director George Galanopoulos said that it would manage the Legacy 600 for the owner and charter the aircraft under its hybrid business model.

“The owner expects to need the jet himself for around 200 hours a year. The remainder of the time it will be available for charter,” he said.

The Cessna Citation XLS, based at Luton, like the other rotorcraft will be managed and chartered by LEA.

The XLS is being refurbished and will join four Excel aircraft already operating in LEA’s mid-size Citation fleet.

“We expect to continue adding aircraft to our managed fleet, particularly in these challenging times,” Galanopoulos said.
