CAE is to supply two CAE 7000 series ARJ21-700 level D full-flight simulators (FFS), valued at about $32m, to the Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC).

The ARJ21 is the first passenger regional jet to be fully developed and produced in China.

The ARJ21 FFS will incorporate full six-degree-of-freedom electric motion systems and new-generation Tropos-6000 visual systems, liquid crystal on silicon projectors and 200°×40° field-of-view visual displays.

The two ARJ21 FFSs ordered now will be delivered at the end of 2010 and in 2012, while the first CAE built ARJ21 simulator announced in 2006 is expected to be ready for training in mid-2010.

The aircraft is scheduled to enter service in 2011.
