Bombardier has signed a letter of intent (LoI) with aircraft management company HK Bellawings Jet to provide up to 18 Global 6500 and Global 7500 business jets.

If all the firm orders and options are exercised, the deal will be worth around $1.14bn at list prices.

Bombardier recently launched its Global 6500 aircraft under the company’s Global family of business jets.

The new Global 6500 aircraft are designed to provide additional range and speed. Powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl engines, the aircraft can connect Hong Kong or Singapore with London.

Capable of flying at 6,600 nautical miles range, this family of aircraft is expected to enter service at the end of next year.

Bombardier’s Global 7500 aircraft can fly at a range of 7,700 nautical miles and can provide non-stop flights from New York to Hong Kong, and Singapore to San Francisco.

HK Bellawings primarily offers business aviation services, which is made up of business jet management, aircraft maintenance, travel concierge service, aircraft acquisition service, and business aviation consultancy.

The company currently operates a fleet of Bombardier’s Challenger and Global business aircraft.
