Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) is set to debut a new version of its aircraft model that is designed to travel more than halfway around the world without taking a break.

The new BBJ 777X aircraft model will be available in two variants, namely BBJ 777-8 and BBJ 777-9.

The BBJ 777-8 is developed to provide a range of 21,570km and equipped with a 3,256ft² cabin area.

Featuring a cabin space of 3,689ft², the BBJ 777-9 model has an ultra-long range of 20,370km. It also offers almost unlimited interior design options to provide improved comfort for long-distance journeys.

“The new BBJ 777X will be able to do this like no other airplane before it, redefining ultra-long range VIP travel.”

Boeing Business Jets head Greg Laxton said: “Our most exclusive customers want to travel with the best space and comfort and fly directly to their destination.

“The new BBJ 777X will be able to do this like no other airplane before it, redefining ultra-long range VIP travel.”

For BBJ 777X, BBJ has also launched interior concepts from three design firms, which include Greenpoint Technologies, Jet Aviation, and Unique Aircraft Design.

Each of the concepts can be customised to meet the requirement of any customers of the new jet.

In addition, BBJ has secured an order from an unnamed company for its BBJ MAX family of aircraft.

The order has increased the total orders won by the BBJ MAX jet family to 21.

The BBJ MAX family is developed on the basis of Boeing’s 737 MAX aircraft and is capable of offering more than three times the cabin space as most of its counterparts.

It features a lower cabin altitude and can fly at a range of 12,964km.
