AERO-Bildung: Aviation Training Center, Oberpfaffenhofen

The Dornier Training Division, forerunner of Aero Bildung Training Center, was founded some 40 years ago, when increasingly sophisticated systems called for in-depth training for operators / pilots, maintenance technicians, and logistic personnel. The main training activities were based upon type training for the aircraft and products being produced by Dornier.

In the following decades, the Dornier Training Center developed rapidly following the increasing requirements of the civilian and military aviation market. National and international approvals accompanied its way to a customer oriented and internationally recognised aviation training provider. Its EASA PART 147 approval allowed worldwide required and state-of-the-art license and type training.

Aero Bildung was founded after the insolvency of Fairchild/Dornier in 2002. This new company combined the Apprenticeship and Qualification Training Department and the Aviation Training Center to a powerful training provider covering the whole variety of Aviation Training. More than 80 employed or contractual technical instructors guarantee the performance of sophisticated courses in the school centrr at Oberpfaffenhofen Airport, a traditional location of aviation or at customer facilities.

Projects based on its EASA approval allow the development of national / local aviation training projects on the basis of internationally recognised standards.
