Hawthorne Global Aviation Services company ExcelAire has taken delivery of a new Gulfstream V jet, expanding its fleet.

The newly delivered aircraft can accommodate 19 passengers and three crews, and is equipped with the latest Gogo Wi-Fi system that passengers can use to access the new Gogo Biz 4G service, which includes movies, TV, flight tracker and weather reports.

"We plan to add two more jets to our fleet this year, providing our clients with the ultimate private jet charter experience."

ExcelAire currently provides aircraft management and charter services, as well as operates a fleet of private jets available for charter worldwide.

ExcelAire president Robert Molsbergen said: "With the addition of this new Gulfstream V, we are now providing our clients with one of the only 19-passenger GV jets available for charter.

"In addition to the GV, we plan to add two more jets to our fleet this year, providing our clients with the ultimate private jet charter experience, and the best-in-class team of private jet travel professionals."

Gulfstream V manufacturer Gulfstream Aerospace noted that the aircraft is capable of flying 12,501km non-stop and can operate short-field, high-altitude airports.

Last month, the company unveiled a new interior for its Gulfstream G500 aircraft.

The new interior features a wide-cabin space that is expected to increase customer comfort, connectivity and flexibility. Developed on the basis of customer feedback, it also includes seats that feature new design techniques and ergonomic enhancements.
