Deals this week: Lufthansa Technik, Safran Nacelles, TP Group


Lufthansa Technik has secured a contract to provide component maintenance services to Royal Jordanian’s A320 aircraft.

As part of the deal, Lufthansa Technik will provide components and technical services for the Jordanian airline’s 12 A320 aircraft.

Safran Nacelles has received a contract from Satair Group to provide lifetime supply chain services for A340-500/600 engine nacelle parts.

"The company simultaneously plans for an open offering of more than 60 million shares at a price of $0.08 a share."

The contractor will provide supply chain, customer support, engineering support, and nacelle maintenance and repair services for the A340-500/600 engine throughout the lifespan of the four-engine aircraft.

TP Group proposes to place more than 307 million firm placing shares in a private placement to raise $25.76m for an acquisition programme and business expansion.

The company simultaneously plans for an open offering of more than 60 million shares at a price of $0.08 a share.

COPTRZ has been selected to distribute Norwegian firm GRIFF Aviation’s heavy-lift commercial drones across the UK and Ireland.

With a lifting capacity of 150kg, the GRIFF drones can be used for search-and-rescue, military supply and cargo delivery missions.

Panasonic Avionics has entered a partnership with Hunter Communications and Eutelsat Americas to enhance in-flight connectivity services on air travel routes over Canada.

The collaboration will help Panasonic to address the increasing demand for in-flight connectivity from its customers flying from Newfoundland to Yukon.
