Deals this week: Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services, Lufthansa Technik, Airbus


Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services has agreed to provide maintenance services for Boeing Classic 737 and 767-300 freighters of Chinese airline, SF Airlines.

The maintenance services to be provided under the deal will improve the safety and performance of SF Airlines’ aircraft.

The deal will support Boeing Shanghai’s business expansion in both domestic and international markets.

Lufthansa Technik, a provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul services based in Germany, has executed a 15-year agreement to supply components to EL AL Israel Airlines.

The contractor will provide spare parts to EL AL’s future fleet of 16 Boeing 787 Dreamliner twin-engine jet aircraft through its spare parts pools in Israel, Asia, Europe and America.

The contractor will produce non-structural parts using fused deposition modelling (FDM) and ULTEM 9085 material.

Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies has been awarded a contract worth $1.12bn to support mission system operations of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, US.

The deal has a base period of two years and three consecutive two-year options.

Chorus Aviation Capital, a unit of Chorus Aviation, has entered a deal to buy two Embraer 190 aircraft.

The three-year old aircraft will be delivered by KLM Royal Dutch Airlines’ subsidiary KLM Cityhopper and Aeromexico’s subsidiary Aeromexico Connect.
