The Boeing Company has placed an order with Norway-based Norsk Titanium for the production of 3D-printed structural titanium components.

To be produced using Norsk’s Rapid Plasma Deposition (RPD) technology, the structural parts will be installed aboard Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner twin-engine aircraft.

Bahrain’s flag carrier Gulf Air has awarded a $37.31m contract to Germany-based Recaro Aircraft Seating for the supply of CL3710 line of economy-class aircraft seats.

The Recaro seats to be supplied under the deal will be installed aboard ten new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner and 29 Airbus 320/321neo aircraft operated by the airline.
