B/E Aerospace, a US-based manufacturer of aircraft cabin interior products and distributor of aerospace fasteners and consumables, has secured four contracts worth approximately $250m.

The first of these contracts includes installation of a lie-flat business class seating arrangement in a new Boeing 787 fleet for an undisclosed international airline as well as retrofit of LED lighting for the airlines’ Boeing 737, 767 and 777 aircraft.

B/E Aerospace’s second award includes outfitting an international airline’s long haul aircraft with lie-flat business class seating arrangement, Pinnacle main cabin seating, and LED lighting facilities.

The third contract comprises provision of a business class seating arrangement, Pinnacle main cabin seating facilities, and a complete food and beverage preparation and storage equipment in a new-buy airplane of a Chinese carrier.

The company will install Pinnacle main cabin seating facilities besides food preparation and storage equipment in a Russian carrier’s new 737 and A320 aircraft, under the fourth contract.

B/E Aerospace chairman and chief executive officer Amin J Khoury said that the multiple awards announcement highlights the company’s continued focus on being an innovative aircraft cabin interior supplier in the industry and further solidifies its position as the market leader for aircraft cabin interiors.

"These awards underscore our leadership in LED lighting systems, premium class seating and Pinnacle® main cabin seating as well as food and beverage preparation and storage equipment," Khoury said.

The company recently announced Boeing 777 retrofit lighting contract along with other programme awards worth $400m.

"Today’s lighting awards include our first all-LED retrofit awards for the Boeing 737, 757 and 767 as well as additional Boeing 777 aircraft," Khoury noted.

The company has won contracts worth $1bn for the installation of Pinnacle seating arrangement on 1,800 new or existing narrow-body and wide-body aircraft.
