Boeing has delivered the first of the three 777 air freighters ordered by Qatar Airways.
The air carrier plans to employ the 777s on its Far Eastern and European routes.
The 777 freighter is a long-range twin-engine cargo aircraft with a payload capability of 225,200lb and 10ft interior height capability.
Powered by GE90-110B1L/115BL engines, the freighter has a range of 4,900nm and meets QC2 noise standards.
Qatar Airlines currently operates 17 passenger versions of the 777 airliner.
