AAR has been named exclusive supplier of composite interiors for the Sikorsky S-92 helicopter programme.
The firm will also provide precision machining services for S-92 helicopter flooring and a structural component of the H-60 helicopter airframe.
AAR Composites will fabricate S-92 offshore / airline helicopter composite interiors and AAR Summa Technologies will offer precision machining services for the helicopters.
AAR has gained initial orders worth $18.8m from Sikorsky, with a potential contract value exceeding $60m.
In addition, AAR and Sikorsky have signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to identify opportunities to expand their relationship.
Under the MoA, AAR will align its diverse engineering, manufacturing, maintenance and parts supply capabilities with Sikorsky's production and aftermarket support requirements.
