Lao Airlines orders two Airbus A320s

Lao Airlines has signed an $91m order with Airbus for the purchase of two A320 aircraft.

The aircraft will be powered by CFM56 engines and operated by Laos's national carrier on routes linking Vientiane to key destinations in South East Asia, including Bangkok and Singapore.

The A320s will feature a two-class layout to seat 126 passengers in the economy-class cabin and 16 in business class.

The first aircraft will be delivered by the end of October 2011 and the second will arrive in November 2011.
