US-based aviation service provider Bristow Group intends to raise $300m through a private placement of senior secured notes.

The notes will yield a semi-annual interest rate until they mature in March 2023.

The proceeds from the placement are intended to be used for the debt repayment, corporate expenses and loan clearance.

Bombardier has collaborated with Siemens to expand the Teamcenter portfolio for product lifecycle management (PLM).

The Teamcenter solution is majorly used for optimising the processes involved in the development of engineering products.

Teamcenter provides information for programmes involving mechanical, electrical software and wire harnesses.

The integration of Teamcenter into PLM will further improve operational efficiency and product development of aerospace companies.

Bigelow Space Operations (BSO) has partnered with Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), which handles US National Lab of the International Space Station (ISS).

Both organisations will work together to promote the payload integration for customers across commercial, government and academic fields.

BSO also aims to partner with other payload integrating companies and intends to estimate the future needs of clients on orbit through its experience on the ISS.

The European Space Agency (ESA) has awarded a €2.6m ($3.2m) contract to Irish technology vendor InnaLabs for the development of a spinning device to measure orientation and angular velocity.

InnaLabs has secured a similar contract worth €1m ($1.2m) from the ESA last year.

InnaLabs offers complex navigational devices required for rail, road, naval and air transportation applications.
