OXYCHECK - High Pressure Gas System Components

OXYCHECK is an Australian company dedicated to the design and manufacture of safe and reliable oxygen compatible and high-pressure gas system components. Our extensive experience in the safe analysis, design, maintenance and operation of oxygen and air systems, coupled with our active research programmes into the flammability and sensitivity of metallic and non-metallic materials provides an unrivalled level of expertise used to address all issues relevant to these systems.

OC-001 CHECK / FILL VALVE ASSEMBLY

One of OXYCHECK's patent pending designs is the OC-001 check / fill valve assembly. Its operating pressure can be user specified, its proof pressure is 3,750psi (hydrostatically tested to 1.5 x MAWP) and its burst pressure 5,000psi (2 x MAWP). Its operating temperature is -57°C to +95°C.

The OC-001 check / fill valve assembly's mean internal leakage rate is 0scc/min, and its cracking pressure can also be user specified.

The flow rates of the OC-001 check / fill valve assembly are (to +/-10%):

  • 30L/min at 48psi
  • 100L/min at 90psi
  • 150L/min at 115psi
  • 200L/min at 135psi

Tested for endurance to >2,000 cycles at 200L/min, evaluated at MAWP, the OC-001 check / fill valve assembly is made of monel K-500TM, monel 400TM, nickel 200TM, brass and synchronised sapphire (Al2O3). A 7μm sintered bronze 'witches cap' is available for filtration, and the end connections are user specified.

The OC-001 check / fill valve assembly provides:

GAS SYSTEM COMPONENT DESIGN AND MANUFACTURE

With all devices developed using advanced 3-D CAD software and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), every aspect of the design and manufacture of our gas system components is carefully assessed to ensure all material, functional and dimensional requirements are met.

This ensures that safety and functionality features – including strength, capability, tolerances, filtration requirements, natural frequencies and flow requirements – are all demonstrated and incorporated into every device.

Each design prototype then has all parameters rigorously verified in our world-class test and production facility to ensure functionality and conformance to user requirements. Additionally, a formal oxygen hazards and fire risk analysis is performed on every assembly and sub-component.

All products meet or exceed all recommendations or test requirements as specified in relevant ASTM, AS, ISO, CGA or NASA/ESA standards or processes, and are cleaned in accordance to these and / or MIL-SPECs. This approach is used in all product lines, including our high-pressure oxygen check valves, high-pressure oxygen fill valves and high-pressure oxygen relief valves.
