Maintenance for general aviation, commercial aviation, air transport and defense

Established in 1922, Roeder Praezision is one of the major maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) organizations in the German aerospace industry today. The company has a work force of more than 300 and facilities at Egelsbach Airfield, in Frankfurt and Alsfeld.

Our services range from the repair of virtually all components for aircraft of various types to spare part distribution and sales and aircraft trading. Roeder Praezision is active in the fields of general aviation, commercial aviation, air transport and defense. The diversity of the company’s aerospace services is outstanding in Europe.

Most of the jobs are performed in-house. Thus, Roeder Praezision is the only company in Germany providing full overhaul capabilities for aircraft up to 5.7 tons at its own facilities.

Non-destructive testing (NDT) for aircraft parts

Roeder Praezision is able to perform virtually all non destructive testing commonly performed in aviation. In addition to standard procedures such as magna flux and dye penetrant testing, special techniques such as delaminating testing using the shadow wave procedure are applied as well.

Custom paint-finishing for aircraft

All individual parts and components are prepared and refinished according to manufacturer’s specifications. A wide range of basic colors commonly used in aviation are available and can be mixed according to customer requirements.

Thermal metal spraying for aerospace parts

Especially in aerospace but also in other industry sectors, thermal metal spraying has become more important in new part production and component repair over the last couple of years. Thermal spraying opens up a wide range of possibilities for repair and surface protection of high-quality components.
