ExelTech Aerospace provides airframe heavy-maintenance, structural modifications, line support and technical services for operators and owners of regional jets, turboprops and narrow-body aircraft.

Our capabilities include AOG and field support; line and intermediate maintenance; heavy maintenance; aircraft modifications and structural repairs; logistics support; and asset-management services including technical planning, maintenance bridging and aircraft reconfiguration.

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE, AVIONICS, STRUCTURAL WORK AND COMPOSITES

With 450 highly skilled aircraft maintenance engineers, avionics, structural and composites technicians, and support staff at three facilities in Montreal and Quebec, we deliver industry-leading quality, reliability and turnaround times, consistently exceeding our customers' financial, commercial and technical expectations.

Most of our services are used on Bombardier Dash 8s, Saab 340s and ATR 42 and 72 turboprops, the Bombardier Canadair Regional Jet (CRJ) family and Embraer ERJ regional jets, and Boeing 737 and 757 narrow-body aircraft.

MAINTENANCE HANGARS

Three maintenance hangar facilities totalling 230,000ft², with up to 11 regional-aircraft maintenance bays, provide one-stop back-shop capabilities, as well as constant line and heavy maintenance, and field support.

MONTREAL CRJ HANGAR

Our Montreal International Airport hangar has a 235ft x 145ft unobstructed floor; capacity for four CRJ lines; an on-site back-shop for downdraft paint booth, sheet metal, interior and composite work; a parts storage and distribution centre; technical representative facilities; and planning and DER services.

AIRCRAFT BACK-SHOP SUPPORT

Our complete back-shop support for aircraft includes:

• Sheet-metal repairs, including heat treatment

• Component painting
• Wheel, tyre and brake overhauls
• Avionics
• NDT, specialised welding, and other contracted services
• A skilled labour pool, world-class subcontractors and outstanding training centres

REDUCED AIRCRAFT TURN-TIMES

Our commitment is to deliver on promised aircraft turn-times and ensure high-quality maintenance solutions at lower costs.

At our maintenance facilities in Montreal and Quebec City we have successfully reduced turn-times by at least 30%, and built a legacy of proven excellence by listening to customers and responding to their needs.

WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The ExelTech workflow management system meets corporate, technical and regulatory needs by converting the customer's maintenance-programme tasks into an XLT work order.

It also tracks completion and generation of both routine and non-routine work, and tracks part and material requisition and fulfilment.

CUSTOMISED WORKFLOW MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Subdivisions of the workflow management system can be customised to correspond to the customer's maintenance programme, with a list of tasks for each subdivision. ExelTech can also store the complete maintenance-programme.

Tasks are filtered out by aircraft affectivity, and matched to the manufacturer's maintenance documentation to ensure regulatory compliance

INDIVIDUAL TASK CARDS

XLT will attach a uniquely identified task card to each routine-work task in the workflow management system, making it impossible to confuse tasks when multiple projects are handled simultaneously.

The task card also allows task-by-task tracking, lets the planner send remarks specific to each task to the mechanic, and provides space to put a note valid for all tasks.

The ExelTech workflow management system supplies the client with reports on:

DUTY-FREE AIRCRAFT PARTS

Our aircraft parts are duty free, and we have an extensive local network of contractors for component repair and overhaul.

We provide a flexible shift-structure that is responsive to customer commitments, as well as overnight shipping to Montreal from any location in the US.

Investment in tooling and equipment is ongoing, as is proven by our excellent track-record in meeting US regional-carrier needs.

DEDICATED STAFF FOR ALL PROJECTS

ExelTech provides an on-site dedicated project manager, supervisor, assigned planner and production coordinator for every project.

Our full-time business re-engineering team continuously assesses efficiencies, processes and productivity, whilst a full-time training team focuses on type training, QA procedures, and operation of tooling and equipment. Our on-site health and safety team ensures compliance with personnel safety guidelines.
