EPCOR - APU and Pneumatic-Component Overhaul and Repair

EPCOR is a fully owned KLM subsidiary operating within the Air France-KLM group. EPCOR is EASA and FAR 145 accredited and a Honeywell authorized warranty repair station for Auxiliary Power Units (APU).

In our state-of-the-art overhaul and repair facility with highly skilled staff, all repair processes are tracked and managed by our modern IT systems. Our excellent relations with the major OEMs Hamilton Sundstrand and Honeywell provide the right level of parts availability.

Our management philosophy is to provide leverage and improvement through lean and six-sigma quality programs. The flexibility of technical staff, specialized tools, designated model cabinets and visual component-status presentations ensure short Turn Around Times (TAT) and reduce your total cost of ownership.

APU MAINTENANCE AND TESTING CENTRE

EPCOR provides APU and APU component maintenance and has access to operator experiences, availability pools (Air France and KLM), brand-new tooling and equipment, and a Honeywell OEM warranty authorized in-house test-cell facility for APUs.

EPCOR can rely on all the experience of the Air France KLM group in operating and repairing the following three APU types and their components:

• GTCP 131-9B (B-737NG)
• GTCP 331-350 (A330 / A340)
• GTCP 331-500 (B-777)

PNEUMATIC COMPONENTS AND TESTING CENTRE

Our overhaul, repair and test capabilities for pneumatic components are:

• B-737 / B-747 / B-767 / B-777 Air Cycle Machines (ACM)
• B-747 Air Driven Pumps (ADP)
• B-747 leading-edge flap-drive units
• Environmental control system components
• Pneumatic valves, regulators and controllers
• Pneumatic starters
• Other pneumatic components installed on large commercial aircraft

TEST EQUIPMENT

EPCOR's has the latest state-of-the-art pneumatic testing equipment in-house and can provide testing for all capabilities.

ENGINEERING SUPPORT

EPCOR's highly skilled engineers will always aid your company wherever possible. To ensure your products get the attention the need, the detachment is in direct contact with the shop. The main goals of our engineering services are to maintain a short Turn Around Time (TAT), and provide highly reliable components with a low cost of ownership.

We can provide the following engineering services:

• Access to OEM engineering
• Customized expertise for work scopes and modifications for higher reliability
• Maintenance recommendations
• Planning management
• Performance monitoring
• Record-keeping of all maintained components
• Development of repairs beyond the CMM limits by a Designated Engineering Representative (DER)
