DAO Aviation are a certified EASA Part-145 approved maintenance and repair facility (Appr. no. DK.145.0020).

For the past 25 years DAO Aviation`s highly skilled staff of engineers have maintained and supported aircraft operators with engines and spare parts all over the world.

DAO Aviation employs a total of 20 people at our own maintenance and hangar facilities in Roskilde Airport, Denmark. Furthermore we have sales offices in United States and intend to open a new sales office in South East Asia.

ENGINE ACCESSORIES REPAIR AND OVERHAUL

DAO Aviation’s EASA Part-145 approval includes capabilities for repair and overhaul of many engine accessories and components. Our two component shops perform repair and overhaul of a large scale of different aircraft and engine accessories such as starter generators, fuel pumps, fuel nozzles etc.

Furthermore DAO Aviation has a large exchange pool which includes nearly all engine accessories for the Honeywell TPE331 engine series. In this case we are able to support our customers with quick delivery times.

DAO Aviation`s inventories consist of more than 20,000 line items. All parts and components are quality controlled and delivered with JAA form One/EASA form 1 or FAA form 8130-3 certificates.

HONEYWELL TPE331 ENGINE REPAIR

Our goal is to continue in the Honeywell TPE331 engine business supporting customers around the world and we expect to be the leading Honeywell TPE331 engine repair and overhaul facility in the future.

However the Honeywell TPE331 engine series has been in service for quite some time. The first TPE331 engines were manufactured back in 1965, and therefore we must realize that it is time to look at new perspectives. We must adopt and follow the customers’ needs and requirements for the future aviation.

DAO Aviation’s new visions and long-term goals are that we are planning to expand into the APU business in the future, as some of the APU models (GTCP 36/85/331) are very similar to the Honeywell TPE331 engine with which we have more than 25 year's experience.
