Aviation Technical Centre of Almaty International Airport - Aircraft Maintenance and Aircraft Component and Structural Repair Services


EASA Part - 145 approved organisation Aviation Technical Centre (ATC) of Almaty International Airport provides airlines with a wide range of aircraft maintenance and repair services, including:

  • Aircraft line and base maintenance
  • Wheel maintenance and replacement of landing gear tyres on Russian and selected western aircraft
  • Flight data processing maintenance services
  • Routine maintenance work and repair of batteries
  • Repair of on-board control systems
  • Supply of non-standard ground equipment tools and mechanisms
  • Maintenance and repair of aircraft interiors
  • Aircraft / aircraft engine diagnostics and testing
  • Routing works and ground support equipment repair
  • Paint restoration and recovery of aircraft coatings

AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT

ATC carries out all types of maintenance services according to aircraft maintenance regulations, such as: Antonov AN-24, AN-26 and AN-30; Tupolev Tu-134 and Tu-154; Ilyushin Il-86, Il-76 and Il-62 and Yakolev Yak-40.

ATC also provides aircraft line maintenance services on Russian fleets, in accordance with Maintenance Manual regulations, such as: Ilyushin Il-86, Il-76 and Il-62; Tupolev Tu-154 and Tu-134; Yakolev Yak-40 and Yak-42 and the Antonov AN-24, AN-26 and AN-30.

ATC is the only technical aviation centre in the Republic of Kazakhstan and in the middle Asian republics certified by Tu-154 designers to carry out technical support programs of this aircraft.

AIRCRAFT LINE MAINTENANCE

ATC's line maintenance capability list (reference: EASA.145.0160) includes the following types of western aircraft: Boeing B737-200, B737-300 / 400 / 500, B737-600 / 700 / 700 (IGW) / 800, B747-100 / 200 / 200F / SP / 300 , B757-200/300, B767-200 / 300, MD11 / 11F, Airbus A300-600, A310-200 / 300, A318 / A319 / A320 / A321, Gulfstream Galaxy / 200 operated in accordance with the corresponding individual maintenance program.

AIRCRAFT BASE MAINTENANCE

ATC's base maintenance capability list (reference: EASA.145.0160) includes the following types of western aircraft: Boeing B737-200, B737-300 / 400 / 500, B757-200 / 300, Airbus A310-200 / 300. ATC's specialist engineering department consists of highly qualified leading engineers, who provide technical support according to western techniques. All maintenance services are rendered under the thorough supervision of ATC's production planning and control department.

FLIGHT DATA PROCESSING SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

ATC provides flight data processing by means of the impartial monitoring of all types of programs on all aircraft. We invite all companies operating aircraft B727-200, B737-300 / 400 / 500, B737-600 / 700 / 800 / 900, B747-100 / 200 / 300 / SP, B757-200 / 300, MD11, A300-300, A310-200 / 300, A318 / A319 / A320 / A321, Fokker-50, An-24B, RB, An-26, An-30, Tu-134A / B, Tu-154B / M, Tu-204, Il-18, Il-62, Il-76, Il-86, Il-96, Yak-42D, Yak-40 and helicopters Mi-8 to use our services. Our highly qualified experienced specialists fulfill maintenance services of your flight data recorder systems in the shortest possible time.

All works, even the most complicated, are completed within seven days. ATC provides support and maintenance of the on¬board flight data recording equipment including decoding flight information when aircraft arrive at Almaty airport. If serious problems occur, our specialists will fly to you immediately with gagging equipment and restore your aircraft in the shortest possible time, wherever it is situated.

AIRCRAFT REPAIR AND OVERHAUL SERVICES

ATC's wide range of repair and overhaul services include:

  • Aircraft landing gear wheel maintenance and tyre replacement on all types of Russian aircraft as well as B737-200 / 300 / 400 / 500, B737-600 / 700 / 800 / 900 / BBJ, B767-200 / 300, B757-200, MD11, A300, A310, A318 / 319 / 320 / 321 and Fokker 50 western aircraft (reference: EASA.145.0160)
  • Repair of automatic on-board control systems and automatic stability and control systems
  • Routine maintenance work and repair of SAFT (reference: EASA.145.0160 and no. 1004001), Varta and Marathon batteries
  • Maintenance and repair of furnishings and the re-equipment of aircraft interiors
  • All structural work described in manufacturer’s documentation (reference: EASA.145.0160)
  • Repair of ground equipment, aircraft repair installation tools and check-out stands
  • Life preserver inspection and packing (reference: EASA.145.0160)

ATC also supplies specific vehicles for aircraft maintenance and carries out the loading of aircraft systems, engines and APU with combustive-lubricating materials, special liquids and compressed gases.

AIRCRAFT TESTING AND DIAGNOSTICS

ATC provides aircraft and aircraft engine diagnostics (reference: EASA.145.0160) by means of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) methods, such as:

  • Eddy current
  • Magnetic particle
  • Liquid penetrate
  • Ultrasonic
  • Radiographic

OTHER SERVICES

As well as maintenance and repair services, ATC also provides:

  • Organization and evacuation of damaged aircrafts from the airfield
  • Production and supply of medical and compressed oxygen, condensed and liquefied nitrogen and compressed air
  • Restoration of paint coats and anti-rust coatings of all Russian and western airplanes
