Technoform Kunststoffprofile - Plastic Extrusion Profiles for Aircraft Construction

As a specialist for the development and manufacturing of complex extrusion profiles for technically sophisticated applications we are the industry’s development partner. We develop and produce plastic film profiles for the aircraft construction, which are indispensable in the passenger area ’ solution-oriented, quick and precise. We thereby guarantee reliable processing of all approved materials specific to the sector ’ whether they be PA, PC, PEI or others, whether glass-fibre strengthened or non-strengthened.

PA, PC AND PEI EXTRUSION PROFILES FOR AIRCRAFT

The PEI extrusion profiles for finger rails and strip covers in the cabin of the new Airbus A380 come from Technoform ’ just like numerous others, for example PSU rails, PSU flaps and blinds light shade. Furthermore, the precision profiles from the north Hessian company are used as cable channels or seat rail covers in the cabin. For over four years Technoform Kunststoffprofile GmbH has been the extrusion profile supplier of choice for the aircraft industry and its suppliers.

With a high level of material and processing expertise, know-how stretching over the sector and a great deal of experience with thermoplastic synthetic materials we give our customers a high level of development safety from the very beginning. Quick processes and excellent quality results ensure our edge over the competition.

THE TECHNOFORM PRECISION EXTRUSION PROCESS

With the special Technoform extrusion process and the classic extrusion we guarantee marketable results in the shortest possible time: no longer than 14 days from the concept to the sample profile. We thereby achieve, depending on the processing technology, a precision of up to ± 0.05 mm.

With the process developed by Technoform the prototype generally corresponds to the serial profile. With this most necessary tests can be carried out at an early stage and in real conditions. Finally the technical requirements and economic considerations determine the choice of the process.

Upon customer’s orders we experiment with promising new materials and material combinations as an alternative to conventional materials. This work with the most diverse types of materials leads time and time again to new, trend-setting solutions that set standards.

In order to do justice in the long-term to the demands of the market we want to be in a position in the future to deliver part components together with our partners. Our aim is always comprehensive customer satisfaction with the total service package ’ the sum of quality, quantity / time, price ’ and the optimum result for a total product.
