EMTEQ Granted FAA Air Agency Certification

Company is authorized to issue FAA repair forms on qualified lighting and avionics-related products and equipment

EMTEQ, a worldwide name in aviation product and system support, was granted its Air Agency Certificate E3TR548Y by the FAA in November, 2007. As a certified repair station, the company is authorized to issue Return to Service tags and FAA Forms 8130-3 as well as 337s for EMTEQ designed and manufactured ARINC 404/600 trays, coax cable assemblies, LED dome, reading, wash and strip lighting.

John Themmes, EMTEQ's Repair Station Manager states: "Repair station certification allows us to offer the next level of integrated, comprehensive service for our customers." The greatest benefit is that the aircraft owner/operator can come directly to us for repairs on items that are on our approved capabilities list."

EMTEQ's repair station status allows repairs in-house with a limited airframe rating to repair in the field. EMTEQ plans to expand their capabilities list over time and is expecting EASA approval in order to issue repair tags under the European Aviation Safety Agency system within the first quarter of 2008.
