New Berlin, WI – FAA certification is imminent for several new EMTEQ Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs), including approvals for ADS-B installation on Saab 340B aircraft; UNS-1L Flight-Management System (FMS) installation on the Shorts 360; and installation of EMTEQ's own line of Elements seat heaters for King Air aircraft.
Other new STCs include ELS installations on the Boeing 727; a 22-channel flight recorder upgrade for Boeing 727 aircraft; Terrain Awareness and Warning System (TAWS) installations on Lockheed-Martin L-382 aircraft; and Runway Awareness Advisory System (RAAS) certifications for Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft. The New Berlin, WI-based avionics and lighting systems integrator already holds more than 30 type certifications with the FAA, EASA and other international certification offices.
"These STCs are important for a couple of reasons: First, they demonstrate EMTEQ's ability and desire to continually expand our repertoire of engineering design capability for a wide range of aircraft models. In addition, the products represented by these STCs – including our proprietary Elements seat heaters – are innovative and were developed in close collaboration with our customers," noted Jeff Rozewicz, EMTEQ's director of engineering, certification and integration services.
