New Berlin, WI, USA – EMTEQ, a leading provider of integrated aircraft services and systems, has been awarded an initial contract by Hawker Beechcraft Corporation for installation of its new FAA-certified seat heaters – the first such standardised products in the industry – aboard Beechcraft King Air models, with plans to later include installation in Hawker 400XP / 800 / 850XP, Beechcraft Baron and Bonanza models.
EMTEQ's elements seat-heating products – ideal for corporate, VIP, business and air transport aircraft – will also be available for retrofit and forward-fit installation on aircraft models outside of the Hawker Beechcraft family, and for TSOed seats.

The new EMTEQ seat-heater design features lumbar and seat heat that can be individually controlled by each passenger to obtain a desired level of warmth, as well as an automatic shut-off to provide optimal temperature control and ensure passenger safety. The system has been designed to adjust with the seat's movement while not compromising the elements' functionality. Several patents have been applied for, affecting system control, diagnostics and manufacturing.
