EMTEQ Aerospace, under a dealership agreement with Rockwell Collins, is offering the Airshow® 410/420 and Airshow® 4000/4200 moving map and flight information/entertainment LRU. EMTEQ provides the Airshow® LRU with design and STC certification engineering plus all the necessary installation components including the interconnect RF coaxial cable. EMTEQ offers several cable options depending on the system series selection.
The 410/420 systems can use either aircraft grade Teflon® or PFLX (polyethylene) RF cable; 75 ohm for the Airshow® 410 and 50 ohm for the 420. Lower loss cables are also available.
Advanced graphics engines for moving maps differentiate the Airshow® 4000 and 4200 from the 410/420. Airshow® 4000 and 4200 LRUs require an Ethernet connection to accommodate a SATCOM interface in addition to a 75 or 50 ohm coax or 100 ohm twisted pair. For Ethernet applications, EMTEQ offers a two and four pair Cat 5E or Cat 7 10 gigabit transmission cable. Connectors are offered with some Ethernet cables.
Airshow® 4000, designed with corporate aircraft in mind, offers a cabin video feed controlled by the passenger to view news, real time moving maps, financial and weather information. The Airshow® 4200, designed for airline applications, feeds moving maps, weather and news as well as connecting gate information to the airline passenger. These Airshow® 4000/4200 features require interface with an ARINC 600 connector block with RJ and USB connections, also part of EMTEQ's installation kit. Other contents include the mounting tray, hardware and wire harness. EMTEQ employee installation crews are available for U.S. or international locations.
